When we first started chatting in January of last year, we had both just gotten out of a 3 year relationship, and were still weary of the opposite sex. After he went through a sort of chrisis for a month, and I didn't hear from him, I was really upset and trying to move on, and at that point we were still only chatting. After that month, he Im'd me and said that he'd wanted to do it sooner, but couldn't remember my screen name. After talking on the phone the same night, we decided we had to meet. He made the hour and a half drive to my parents home, and once he got there we decided to go camping, where we stayed for 4 days, in complete silence, and utter bliss. We got to know each other quickly, and were both in love definately. We talked on the phone every day for two weeks after, when I decided to go to his hometown. I ended up staying there with him, and going home on weekends to visis my family. They all knew I was love sick and wouldn't be the same if I couldn't be with Dustin. After all, he's what made me completely leave my past behind, despite being hurt so many times, and now we're about to start a beautiful life together as Mr. and Mrs. Beene! When I first started on POF I was looking just to date. Nothing to serious as I had been in a relationship for about 14 years and needed a break. I started talking to Todd and connected immediately. There were so many wonderful things about him, but I hesitated to meet him becuase I felt like a long term relationship and I didn't think I was ready for that. My sister-in-law told me to go for it anyway. The first second I saw him I felt winded, my whole body vibrated through the entire first date and we have been practically inseparable since. We now live together and have a wonderful life with our three sons (my two and his one). Todd is the man of my dreams. He makes everyday wonderful. He is kind and caring, expressive, loving, and a great communicator. To top it off it all comes in a pretty amazing package. From the past experiences I have had I know this relationship will be forever. He is everything to me. Thanks POF for hooking us up.
Lonny had sent me a message just to say Hi and that he would like to chat sometime...Well, it seemed like that sometime turned into all the time! We spent the next month chatting online and talking on the phone when we finally decided it was time to meet face to face. I was so nervous but I thought how could meeting someone that I felt I have known forever be so bad?! Well, we met at a local Tim Hortons and that is where I knew he was something special.
