Our story? well I had been surfing for a while and meeting people, but no rush. My sweetie on the other hand was a "new fish" and had truly no belief in this and only tried it because of some friends. He e-mailed me twice, and the second time I decided to answer. For the next week we e-chatted, talked on the phone for a bit and on teh weekend we went out for dinner. It was love at first sight!!! We have been through happy and sad moments but our love is stronger than ever!! We are getting married next week, so things could not be better. My piece? MY HUSBAND AND I HAD BOTH BEEN THROUGHT A ROUGH MARRIAGE BREAKUP. HIS FATHER ENCOURAGED HIM TO GO ON PLENTY OF FISH, AND MY MOTHER ENCOURAGED ME TO DO THE SAME. I HONESTLY HAD NO FAITH IN INTERNET DATING. WELL, TO MY SURPRISE, I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM HIM, AND HE SOUNDED LIKE MY DREAM COME TRUE. AFTER SEVERAL WEEKS OF TALKING ON THE COMPUTER, WE FINALLY AGREED TO MEET. ON OUR FIRST DATE, I WAS A NERVOUS WRECK, UNTIL WE REALLY GOT TALKING. I FELT LIKE I HAD KNOWN HIM FOR SO LONG ALREADY. WE HAD DINNER AT OLIVE GARDEN, THEN WENT FOR A WALK ON THE BEACH AND TALKED. WELL, WE ENDED UP HEAD OVER HEELS IN LOVE! THAT WAS IN APRIL, WE WERE ENGAGED ON THANKGSGIVING DAY OF THE SAME YEAR, AND WERE MARRIED ON THE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF OUR FIRST DATE!!!! THANKS TO PLENTY OF FISH, WE BOTH FOUND OUR ONE TRUE LOVE, AND WE ARE BOTH HAPPIER THAN WE HAVE EVER BEEN. 
Lorne & Brittney: Lorne messaged me for the first time on September 25, 2006. Quite honestly, I wasn't expecting anything out of this site. I was just on here because I was extraordinarily bored at work. Finally I broke down 3 weeks later and told him it was okay to meet. I had had another date the day before him, and that guy wanted a second - but I met Lorne the next day and I knew that I would never again have a need to first or second date with anyone other than this man. It was love at first sight. It seemed as though we had known each other for a life time. Our first week together was straight out of a romantic comedy where anything that could go wrong, did! (that's a much longer, much funnier story). If we weren't meant for each other then we never would have made it past that first week! Things happened so quickly.
