When we first started chatting in January of last year, we had both just gotten out of a 3 year relationship, and were still weary of the opposite sex. After he went through a sort of chrisis for a month, and I didn't hear from him, I was really upset and trying to move on, and at that point we were still only chatting. After that month, he Im'd me and said that he'd wanted to do it sooner, but couldn't remember my screen name. After talking on the phone the same night, we decided we had to meet. He made the hour and a half drive to my parents home, and once he got there we decided to go camping, where we stayed for 4 days, in complete silence, and utter bliss. We got to know each other quickly, and were both in love definately. We talked on the phone every day for two weeks after, when I decided to go to his hometown. I ended up staying there with him, and going home on weekends to visis my family. They all knew I was love sick and wouldn't be the same if I couldn't be with Dustin. After all, he's what made me completely leave my past behind, despite being hurt so many times, and now we're about to start a beautiful life together as Mr. and Mrs. Beene! Gillian and I met on POF probably about 3 or 4 months before we met. We talked and there was a definate connection from first email she sent me. I said I didnt want to meet up, but over time just had to see if it was right. Id never been on a date before and was scared was just being silly. We went out cinema first, then a restaurant and then she suggested we go to the sea. Im not much touchy feely and well it took her to ask me to kiss her for it to happen, but ive never looked back. Engaged February (simply because didnt want to do it to early and I planned it in style) We also now have a baby on the way. NEVER thought it would happen in a million years...

Hi everyone!! When Welder and I met, we were both about to delete our accounts. I had been on here for quite awhile and met some awesome and NOT so awesome people. At that point I was only on here for the forums. Welder hadn't been on here that long, but had grown frustrated with the rampant BS that he was running into. Welder had viewed me but didn't send a message. I looked at his profile and was shocked to see that he was 6'5. Out of curiosity I sent him a message that said 'Are you really 6'5?'. His answer was yes. We met a few days later in person and have been inseperable ever since. He has moved to the town that I live in and we are planning a wedding for later in the year. Whatever you do...DON'T GIVE UP. Yes, there is a lot of crap you have to weed through to find 'the one', but when you do...all of the other crap is quickly forgotten.
