I never thought I would meet someone like Katie. I have gone through life, after being married to someone for 8 years, thinking I knew what it was like to be in love. Thinking this whole time that the thought of just ONE person being out there for ME... a soul mate... was too cliche. That there were MANY girls out there who I could be extremely happy with, and I just had to meet one of them. Then Katie came along, and proved me completely wrong!! It's like we have been looking for each other our whole lives. Not that we just love the same things, but that we are with each other PURELY for the fact that we love each other more than life itself. I just can't imagine being without her! I went to my inbox one day to find an email that started the rest of my life. Mike is the most amazing person. We share the same thoughts, views, and values. When we are in each others presence, it's as if NO ONE else in the world exists. We met three days after his email to me, we talked for HOURS upon HOURS after that meeting, and he asked me to marry him 5 days after that. Some may say it's too quick, some may say we're crazy, but one thing we know is that we are crazy about each other and we don't want to spend another day without one another. I never thought that someone could make my life more complete than Mike does. And as if that isn't enough, he isn't the only thing I have gained from this experience. I have also gained a beautiful little girl who has stolen my heart just as much as her daddy and for that I am the LUCKIEST woman alive.
