I truly believe there is someone out there for everyone. We all deserve to be happy in life and thanks to this wonderful site I met my MR. AMAZING!! I did online dating for 2 years all together and was on 10 different dating sites. I can honestly say that I wasted a lot of time and money because PLENTY OF FISH was the best site out of them all. POF is the most user friendly dating site, it has instant messenger on it and it is 100% free so you have nothing to lose unlike those other sites that are $19.99 a month. You’ll go broke before you meet someone on those sites!! I was on so many websites because I was determined to find MR. RIGHT through the computer and I definitely was not meeting him from going out on the weekends. I got tons of e-mails each day from guys but I was looking for quality not quantity. I wanted someone who was tired of dating everyone and who wanted to settle down. When I first heard of online dating I thought it was a ridiculous way to meet someone. I thought you must be very desperate to have to turn to the internet to find someone descent to get a date with but I am here to tell you I was desperate…..I DID IT AND IT WORKS!! I didn’t find MR. RIGHT over night but I did end up meeting the MAN OF MY DREAMS from this site!! He is everything I have always wanted in a man and more. He’s a sweetie, gorgeous, smart, tall, hard worker, makes me laugh, great with money, loves kids and animals, very close with our families and most of all HE LOVES ME!! I am extremely picky and a lot of my friends thought I never would meet anyone good enough for me and that I would never get married because my standards for guys were just too high!! I just knew what I was looking for in a guy…..what I could live with and what I refused to put up with!! I found him from this site….we talked a little bit through e-mails and instant messenger and have been together since the day we met. We totally clicked on our first date and I love him more and more each day that goes by!! I fell flat on my face IN LOVE with him and knew he was the man I wanted to be with forever, have babies with and grow old with. He asked me to marry him on our 7 month anniversary and after 10 minutes of me crying and nonstop kissing he said “you never answered me…is that a yes??” I said….”Are you kidding me??...of course I will marry you!!” We planned a beautiful wedding and got married 5 months later on October 21, 2006. I never in my life thought I was capable of loving someone this much!! He left for Iraq in January and it felt like someone ripped my heart right out of my chest. But, I look at it this way if I have to live without him one more year of my life to get him for the rest of my life then he is definitely worth the wait!! It was another day to me when i got to thinking was there even someone out there for me, i thought to myself ill never find someone who could understand the real me. I Figured that maybe i would give this site a try. Little did i know my husband to be messaged me and he said: that i was beautiful than we talked for awhile and something came over me i decided to take the next step and then we met. then we began datting and seeing more and more of each other. In August he brought me to a nice restraunt and asked me to marry him. I Said yes. we were married on Nov.9th 2005 I want to say thank you plenty of fish.
We met when Marcus had looked at my profile and a photo i had up, of a reflection caught his eye as it reminded him of his favourite artist Escher. he then kept reading and found a lot of interest in everything i had to say and wrote to me. that decision of his, i am so grateful for. he is from Holland and I from Australia. I met him in real life two months later and we both had the best time and were so happy with eachother. He is moving here in one week and we will be getting married in October. He is amazing. We are eachothers dream come true and i hope for everyone else still looking that yours will come true too. It is indeed possible.
